Shipping policy

 

All orders placed before 12pm PST are processed on the same business day (excluding weekends and holidays) you receive your order confirmation email. Custom curated gift boxes and all other orders may ship on the next business day at the latest. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped. 

Local Pickup

Local pickup is offered in our retail store at 504 S 11th St., Unit A, Tacoma, WA 98402 during standard business hours. Standard business hours are as follows - please check Google for Holidays or closures:

  • Tuesday through Friday, 11am to 5pm
  • Saturdays, 10am to 5pm
  • Sundays, 10am to 4pm
  • Closed Mondays

If you need your order sooner, please contact us directly and we would be happy to help. We may close for inclement weather or on holidays. Please reference our Google Business Profile or contact us directly at info@shopmccoykids.com. 

Domestic Shipping Rates and Estimates

Shipping charges for your order vary depending on the total value of your purchase and how fast you want it. Economy Shipping (5-8 business days) rates are provided at $8.95 and Standard Shipping (3-5 days) rates are provided at $12.95. Orders shipping to WA receive Standard Shipping at Economy rates ($8.95) due to proximity to our shop. International rates are carrier calculated based-on the service type and items included in the order - duties and taxes may apply and are the responsibility of the recipient.

Orders over $75 USD, before tax qualify for free economy shipping. Free economy most often ships USPS Parcel Select Ground, USPS Media Mail (if all books) or UPS Ground, whichever is cheapest, and typically arrive between 3-8 business days, depending on how far you are from Washington State. Free Economy shipments to Alaska and Hawaii may take longer than 8 business days depending on how rural your location is. Selection of the carrier is up to the discretion of McCoy Kids. Should you wish for a specific carrier or method, please contact us and we would be happy to accommodate but know this may come at an additional cost to the buyer.

We do not ship to freight forwarding services. Should you choose to ship to one and we miss it, we do not accept responsibility for what happens to your item(s) once they arrive there. No refunds, credits, or compensation will be offered for lost or damaged packages using a service such as this. 

Estimated delivery times are included below but subject to the discretion of the carrier. 

If you do not qualify for free shipping or elect to pay it (thank you), we will choose the cheapest method that gets your package to you within the delivery time estimate you selected.

International Shipping

We offer international shipping. Due to COVID-19, some carriers have restricted delivery to some countries when shipments are originating from the United States. 

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated by the carrier, and are dependent upon the items you're ordering and where we are shipping to.

Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. McCoy Kids is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are your responsibility as the customer.

How do I check the status of my order?

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available. 

If you haven’t received your order within 10 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at help@shopmccoykids.com with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.
