Holiday Shipping Cut-off Dates

We all know that the Holidays are a busy time of year for shipping, but this is the second year we are seeing additional pressures as a result of global supply chain issues coupled with the ongoing pandemic. Because of that, we wanted to pass along to you all of the shipping cut-off dates given to us by the folks who are doing the hard work of delivering your packages.

At McCoy Kids, we try our best to provide same day shipping, Monday through Saturday, and same day local delivery each and every day of the week. With that being said, there are some limitations:

• Orders requiring gift wrap or extra care may take longer for us to process, pack and ship.
• The Post Office closes at 7pm PST Monday - Friday and 3pm PST on Saturday. They are not open on Sundays. We require at least 30 minutes to pack an order and get it to the Post Office in time. UPS and DHL drop-offs operate the same. 
• Our official cut-off time for same-day shipping and delivery is 12pm PST, but we will always do our best to go above and beyond that. Please take this into consideration when accounting for when the item(s) will be with the carriers. 

Below are the shipping cut-off dates provided by USPS, UPS, and DHL. Please remember that these carriers have removed most delivery date guarantees for any Ground, First Class, or Priority mail classes during the pandemic and that USPS has already slowed some services out of necessity. 

Please note: When choosing Free Economy at checkout, please plan for us to send your package via USPS Media Mail (if all books) OR USPS Parcel Select Ground OR UPS Ground (depending on dimensions or weight). If in Canada and using our Free Economy shipping, please assume your package will be shipped using First Class International. 

We try to upgrade packages when it's not cost prohibitive, but current holiday surcharges are quite expensive.
